Terms of service
Last updated [DATE]
These terms are an agreement between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Get Missed Jobs,” “we,” “us”) and the business that signs up for our service (“you”). By using the service, you agree to them.
The service
We answer calls that you forward to us, collect the caller’s details, contact the people on your on-call list according to the emergency rules you set, and send you a summary of each call with a recording and transcript.
We are not an emergency service
Get Missed Jobs is not a substitute for 911 or for a gas, electric or water utility’s emergency line. When a caller describes a situation that may endanger someone, we tell them to contact emergency services. We can’t guarantee that your technicians will answer or respond.
Pilot, fees and billing
The service starts with a [14–30]-day pilot. The one-time setup fee is [PILOT_PRICE]. After the pilot, the service continues month to month at [MONTHLY_PRICE] unless you cancel before the pilot ends.
[CONFIRM: billing date, payment method, included call volume, overage charges, taxes, late payments, setup fee refund policy.]
Cancellation
There is no long-term contract. You can cancel any time by contacting us at [EMAIL]. [CONFIRM: notice period and whether the current month is prorated.] You can stop calls reaching us at any time by turning off forwarding on your phone line.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your services, hours, emergency rules and on-call contacts, and tell us when they change.
- Set up and maintain call forwarding on your phone line.
- Make sure your technicians agree to be contacted by us.
- Use the service in line with applicable laws, including laws on call recording and consumer contact.
Our responsibilities
- Answer forwarded calls and follow your emergency rules as configured.
- Not change your phone setup, forwarding or on-call list without your approval.
- Handle caller data as described in our privacy policy.
- [CONFIRM: uptime or service commitments, if any.]
Data and recordings
You own the caller information and recordings created for your business. We process them to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
[LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: to be drafted by counsel. Should address missed or dropped calls, carrier outages, errors in transcription or summaries, and technician non-response.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE].

We’ll email you at least [X] days before material changes take effect.
